When I first started at Domett I pretty much had no practical experience at all – I hadn’t even used a drill before!
Coming straight from picking kiwifruit into a heavy machinery production line was quite a shock at first, but with good systems, training and teammates I was able to learn and progress quickly.
Domett have been great at helping me personally, including teaching me new skills, supporting my NZ Visa application and giving me a recent promotion into managing a team of 12 in our finishing department.
I really enjoy the work and fun team culture at Domett, as well as the fact they recognise people who show initiative and as a company are so supportive of cultural diversity across the team.
