Over the past couple of years, we have developed a strong relationship with Domett, who have been very supportive of our students. They have implemented excellent systems that provide our boys with work experience – one day a week over a 10-week period. From our initial meeting with Domett, it was clear they understood the value of this partnership. Working with them has been seamless; they are easy to collaborate with and have a forward-thinking approach.
Domett has been incredibly organised, providing a clear schedule so the boys knew exactly where to be, when to be there, who would be supervising them, and what tasks they would be doing. The students had the opportunity to explore various areas within the company, from welding and fabrication to assembly and spray painting.
The team at Domett has been consistently accommodating and a pleasure to work with. They are always open to discussing and finding solutions, making adjustments as needed, and supporting our students’ learning experience.
It’s rewarding to see our students’ self-confidence grow, and that’s largely thanks to Domett’s influence and the opportunity they provide for hands-on learning in a real-world environment.
